This role is contributing to the Process Automation, Process Industries division based out of Bangalore Location, India. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
  • Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
  • Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
  • Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
  • Take responsibility of basic and detail electrical engineering for the projects pertaining to Mining, Cement, Metals & Pulp & Paper- such as preparation of single line diagram, protection and metering philosophy, load list segregation, design basis.

Qualifications for the role

  • 8-11 years of relevant work experience in electric projects pertaining to Mining, Cement, Metals & Pulp & Paper.
  • Electrical Power Distribution System for large process plants (MV Switchgear, LT Switchgear, Intelligent MCCs, Bus Trunking) and Independent handling of projects end-to-end.
  • Design of containerized Substations and Control Rooms i.e. Prefabricated Substations/ E Houses and Experience in project engineering with consulting companies or with engineering departments of EPC companies.
  • Experience on large electrification projects in mining and material handling industry will be advantage.
  • Working knowledge on AutoCAD, ETAP/ MiPOWER/ NEPLAN and Knowledge about Autodesk Inventor is an added attribute and Through knowledge of electrical systems and standards Knowledge of various electrical standards (IEC, NEMAetc.
