Job description

  • Lead General Ledger Operations:

    Manage and oversee high-volume transactions across revenue, expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts using K8 or Navigator ERP.
  • Financial Reporting:

    Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and deliver insights to leadership based on ERP-generated reports.

Prepare management reporting & dashboardssuch as P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, KPIsto track performance and highlight risks & opportunities.

  • Month-End / Year-End Management:

    Drive period-end closures, ensuring completeness of accruals, prepayments, and asset depreciation within the ERP.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Support:

    Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance; produce variance analyses (actual vs budget/forecast) and report insights to management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.) to understand drivers, forecast assumptions, and ensure alignment of business goals with financial plans.

  • ERP & Process Optimization:

    Identify and lead improvements in financial workflows, automation opportunities, and ERP configurations aligned to best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

Serves as a strategic finance business partner to senior leadership, delivering timely financial insights, strategic projects and board level presentations.

  • Team Leadership:

Direct and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring accurate data handling, consistent ERP usage, and alignment with accounting standards and internal controls.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably within ERP-driven environments
  • 2+ Years' Hands-On Experience with Kerridge K8 or Navigator, particularly in GL, AP, AR, and reporting modules
  • Proven track record of leading finance and account teams, managing workflows, and mentoring junior staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate financial insights to senior stakeholders, supporting strategic planning and operational decisions.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge of accounting principles, controls, and multi-entity accounting
  • Strong controls in financial planning processes; maintain integrity of inputs, assumptions, and data.
  • Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic input based on ERP outputs to Stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, Excel modelling, and data validation

A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is strongly preferred
