Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineer (design engineering) for Power projects (coal/simple cycle / combined cycle/cogeneration), hydrogen projects.What are the main responsibilities for this individual (i.e., reasons we need this person)?- To work as lead electrical engineer for Power projects (coal/simple cycle / combined cycle/cogeneration), hydrogen project.- Shall carry out electrical System engineering activities such as equipment sizing calculations, preparation of equipment specifications for procurement, technical bid evaluation process;- Shall carry out physical engineering activities such layout – Cable tray, earthing, lightning, lighting, cable schedules, ICS;- Review & performing basic system studies such as LF, SC, relay co-ordination & settings (knowledge of ETAP will be an added advantage)- Vendor print review, FATs of major electrical equipment, etc.- Facilitate co-ordination of design activities across various departments- Conduct and participate in design reviews, collaborate closely with clients- Shall be carrying out planning of engineering deliverables
