Requirements

  • Test planning & strategy: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to analyse requirements and user stories, and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Manual test execution: Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing on web and mobile applications deployed to Azure.
  • Defect management: Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using Azure DevOps Boards.
  • Azure test plan management: Utilize Azure Test Plans to manage manual test suites, test cases, configurations, and results. Assign tests and track progress within Azure DevOps.
  • API testing: Conduct manual API testing using tools like Postman to validate integrations and back-end workflows for Azure services.
  • Data validation: Perform back-end testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity in Azure SQL Database or Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Log & performance analysis: Monitor and analyse application logs and performance metrics in Azure Monitor and Application Insights to assist in diagnosing issues.
  • Environment management: Support test environment setup and data preparation, ensuring isolated and stable testing environments are available in Azure.
  • Agile collaboration: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Reporting: Generate and present test summary reports, defect reports, and progress updates to stakeholders.
