Key responsibilities
- Fleet coordination: Schedule drivers and vehicles for pick-up and drop-off, plan overnight transfers to balance inventory across branches, and manage routes to minimize travel time.
- Vehicle and inventory management: Monitor and maintain records for vehicle usage, maintenance, fuel, and tolls. Ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained, manage keys, and track important documents.
- Customer and issue resolution: Act as a point of contact for customers, respond to operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns or delays, and resolve complaints promptly.
- Reporting and administration: Prepare daily and weekly reports on fleet status, vehicle usage, and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate logs and handle all necessary paperwork.
- Vendor and external coordination: Liaise with external vendors for maintenance, repairs, and insurance to ensure the fleet is in good working order.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience: Typically requires 2-3 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or operations, preferably in the car rental or transport industry.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in fleet management software, MS Excel, Google Sheets, and GPS tracking tools.
