Job Description:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and logistics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field.
2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the logistics industry.
Proficiency in accounting software 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of logistics operations and terminology is a plus.
