Job Description: Sr. Accounts and Finance Manager

Designation: Sr. Accounts Manager

Work Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: MD

The Sr. Accounts manager holds a critical executive role in an organization, overseeing all financial aspects and contributing to the overall business strategy. Here's a breakdown of their primary and secondary responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

1.     
Financial Strategy:
Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy to support overall business goals and objectives.

2.     
Financial Reporting:
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3.     
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting process and financial forecasting to guide business planning and resource allocation.

4.     
Cash Flow Management:
Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.

5.     
Risk Management:
Identify and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate those risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

6.     
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1.     
Team Leadership:
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

2.     
Strategic Partnerships:
Collaborate with other executive team members to inform and influence overall business strategy and decision-making.

3.     
Mergers and Acquisitions:
Evaluate and oversee potential mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities to drive growth.

4.     
Policy Development:
Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure integrity and accuracy in financial operations.

5.     
Financial Systems Oversight:
Assess and implement financial systems and technologies to enhance reporting, analysis, and operational efficiency.

Qualification:

1)     BCom/M.Com/CA

2)     Proven experience as a Sr. Accounts manager, finance officer, or in a relevant role

3)     Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Tally, SAP)

Skills Required:

1)     In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

2)     Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

3)     Ability to strategize and solve complex financial problems

4)     Strong leadership and organizational skills

5)     Excellent communication and people skills

6)     An analytical mind with comfort in handling numerical data
