Position Overview

The Senior Accounts Executive will manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including journals, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to streamline processes using financial systems. The candidate will act as the primary point of contact for invoicing, vendor/staff payments, revenue management, and budgeting, while supporting leadership in financial planning and audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring timely closing of books, bank reconciliations, provisions, accruals, vendor/employee payments, and GST invoicing.
  • Record and oversee AP/AR, payroll, cash receipts, credit card transactions with accuracy.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations (assets, investments, revenue, expenses, payroll allocations), and update accounting schedules.
  • Ensure statutory compliance: timely filing and payment of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial results for management review.
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow, revenue, and expenses in collaboration with department heads.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard revenue, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Support leadership in annual budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with auditors during annual audits, fiscal year-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, state, and federal regulations.
  • Train and support staff in effective use of accounting and financial technology/software.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • MBA (Finance): 7+ years of relevant experience
  • CMA: 04 years of relevant experience
  • CA: 02 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, PF, ESI, payroll & statutory filings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), accounting software, and ERP/financial systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead finance initiatives, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and foster a positive work environment.
