Key Duties:

  • Conduct site survey: roof measurements, orientation, shading, structural condition.
  • Analyse customer's electricity bills & load profile to size system.
  • Prepare BOQ/BoM (Excel/Word) for panels, inverters, mounting, cabling etc.
  • On-site supervision during installation: structural mounting, solar panel fitment, inverter & modules wiring, earthing & safety checks.
  • Maintain daily/weekly site reports: progress, material arrival, issues, photos.
  • Ensure compliance to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Liaise with design/procurement/installation teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Basic electrical knowledge required: AC/DC circuits, earthing, inverter connections.
  • Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, maybe PowerPoint or simple presentation/reporting.
  • Field travel required; working on roof, with technicians.

Skills & Requirements (based on benchmarking):

  • Education: 12th pass with preference to diploma/ITI in Electrical/Mechanical.
  • At least 1-2 years (or as per your preference) of field exposure in solar or electrical installation.
  • Basic computer skills (Word/Excel).
  • Basic electrical knowledge (wiring, earthing, safety).
  • Good communication, responsible attitude, willingness to travel and climb rooftops.
  • Attention to detail in measurements and reports.
