Role & responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries or disorders.
  • Perform orthopedic surgeries including trauma, joint replacements, arthroscopy, and fracture management.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care and rehabilitation guidance.
  • Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Attend outpatient clinics and inpatient rounds as per schedule.
  • Participate in case discussions, CME programs, and contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

  • MS / DNB in Orthopedics from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience (fresh consultants may also apply).
  • Sound knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and patient management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ethical medical practice and continuous learning.
