Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of critical mechanical equipment across production units.
  2. Ensure optimal performance of processing, packaging, and utility systems.
  3. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to maximize uptime.
  4. Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance cost effectiveness.
  6. Lead initiatives focused on equipment performance and energy efficiency improvements.
  7. Oversee spare parts inventory management and coordinate with vendors for timely procurement.
  8. Enforce safety, health, and environmental compliance throughout operations.
  9. Provide technical support for plant expansions and new equipment selection

Candidate Requirements

  1. B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  2. 7–10 years of hands-on maintenance experience in edible oil, pharmaceuticals, or food processing industries.
  3. Strong expertise in rotary equipment, boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, conveyors, and utility systems.  Proven track record in preventive and predictive maintenance.
  4. Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and industrial safety protocols.
  5. Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and leadership abilities.
  6. Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
