Nacelles R&D > Nacelle Module > Coolertop

The Nacelle Cooler Top Sub-module (Department) is a part of the Vestas Power Solutions and the Nacelle Module, and we have sites in Denmark, Porto, and Chennai. The Module is responsible for the design and integrity of Vestas Next Generation Nacelles, and the Cooler Top sub-module is responsible for the development of liquid cooler panel systems and supporting structures.

Responsibilities

• Have safety as a priority
• Be able to take responsibility and deal with projects scope, schedule, risks, resources, quality and costs
• Clarify and align design requirements with all relevant stakeholders
• Obtain and often modify CAD geometries to match those requirements
• Set up and implement FE analyses to verify the new geometry
• Create and maintain documentation for the design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Civil / Similar engineering specialization
• 5 years of experience in within engineering
• Experience in analytical calculation and FEA-ANSYS
• Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drawings
• Python / MATLAB is good to have

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions
• Be pro-active, result-oriented and have a genuine sense of responsibility
• Communicate effectively with different stakeholders
