Job Summary

The Service Manager will oversee the complete operations of the TVS workshop, ensuring high customer satisfaction (NPS), business growth, efficient manpower management, and adherence to TVS Motor Company standards. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical understanding, customer focus, and the ability to drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Experience & NPS

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and consistently improve Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain TVS service quality and process adherence.

2. Business Growth & Profitability

  • Achieve monthly service revenue, parts sales, and workshop profitability targets.
  • Plan and execute service marketing campaigns, free service camps, and retention activities.
  • Improve workshop productivity, efficiency, and bay utilization.
  • Monitor key business parameters (e.g., Labour Contribution, Parts-to-Labour ratio, billed hours).

3. Manpower Management

  • Supervise and guide Service Advisors, Technicians, Floor Controllers, Cashiers, and Drivers.
  • Conduct regular training, motivation, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure proper manpower planning and allocation to meet workshop load.
  • Maintain discipline, punctuality & process compliance.

4. Operations Management

  • Ensure adherence to TVS Motor Co. service processes & standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop infrastructure in good condition.
  • Monitor job card process, quality of repairs, repeat jobs, and turnaround time (TAT).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, MIS reporting & service records.

5. Spare Parts Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Parts Manager to ensure parts availability for jobs.
  • Review parts consumption, ordering patterns, and dead/non-moving stock.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of experience in two-wheeler or automotive service operations.
  • Strong understanding of workshop KPIs, NPS, and service processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and deliver results under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
