Position: Tower Technician / Telecom Field Engineer

Department: Network Operations & Maintenance

Work Location: Field (Multiple tower sites)

Role Overview

A Jio Tower Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth functioning of Jio telecom tower sites and associated network equipment. The role includes field visits, tower maintenance, equipment installation, and ensuring high-quality network connectivity and uptime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of telecom towers
  • Install, configure, and repair radio equipment, antennas, and cables
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network faults and power issues
  • Handle battery banks, power systems, DG (diesel generator), and electrical panels
  • Monitor alarms and attend outages to restore network services quickly
  • Ensure tower safety compliance and maintain technical documentation
  • Coordinate with the network operation center (NOC) & field teams
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and site hygiene

Skills & Qualifications

Education:

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20, ₹23,000.00 per month
