Role & responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the unit.
  • Provides leadership, staff development, and mentoring and resource management in the daily nursing operations.
  • Ensures nursing clinical quality standards and practices are compiled, maintained and evaluated when necessary.
  • Works closely with senior management, heads of department and doctors to ensure a high standard of nursing care and meet/exceed customers expectations.
  • Maintains departmental stock and inventory control.
