Oracle HCM Cloud Application Developer

Role : Oracle HCM Cloud Application Developer ( UK Shift ). As an Oracle HCM Cloud Application Developer, you will serve as a key technical resource in developing and enhancing our HR applications ecosystem, with a primary focus on Oracle HCM Cloud. You will design, build, and implement custom solutions that extend Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities to meet our organization's unique requirements.

This role involves collaborating with IT, HR stakeholders, and technical teams to develop, implement, and enhance our HR systems through custom code, configurations, and integrations. Your primary focus will be on the technical development aspects of our HRIS landscape, with emphasis on Oracle HCM Cloud customizations and extensions. Your Responsibilities :

• Design and develop custom solutions, extensions, and integrations for Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Build and maintain data integration pipelines between Oracle HCM and other enterprise systems.
• Create and optimize custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using OTBI & BIP.
• Develop custom UIs and experiences using Redwood pages and Visual Builder Studio.
• Implement and maintain REST API integrations for Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, HDL/HSDL scripts, and HCM Extracts.
• Design and develop automated test frameworks for ensuring system quality.
• Create technical documentation for custom developments and configurations.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Oracle HCM ecosystem.

Your Profile :Basic Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• A minimum of 7 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud development.
• Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) strongly preferred.
• Experience in a global or multi-country development environment.

Technical Knowledge :

• Strong programming skills with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL.Advanced experience with Oracle HCM Cloud development tools including :
• HDL/HSDL scripting and optimization.
• REST API development and consumption.
• Visual Builder Studio for custom applications.
• HCM Extracts and data integration patterns.
• BI Publisher (BIP) report development.
• Strong SQL skills for complex data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with XML, JSON, and web service technologies.
• Knowledge of modern web development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) a plus.

Functional Knowledge :

• Solid understanding of HR domains including Core HR, recruiting, learning, compensation, talent management, and absence management.
• Experience implementing and customizing multiple Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud release cycles and regression testing methodologies.
