Profile - Structural Design Engineer

Qualification -B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/University

Experience -Minimum 06 +years post qualification experience in the field of Design of steel structure for Industrial shed/Pre Engineered Building/Steel crash Barriers/Any Other Steel Structure & Foundation Design/Design of Noise Barrier System.

Salary - Upto 10.80 LPA

Location - Greater Noida

Job Description

(i) Steel Structure Design on Staad Pro & Manual Calculations as per Indian Standards

(ii) Calculation of Wind Pressure, additional Pressure created by vehicle /Train movement etc.

(iii) Generation of Detailed Engineering drawings including assembly and part drawings, 3D drawing, BoM generation using AUTOCAD software

(iv) Design Calculation for the foundation of Steel Structure as per Indian Standards

(v) Calculations of Base Plate, Stiffener, welding's, joint connections, fasteners etc.

(vi) Knowledge of Indian Standards applicable for Steel Design,Foundation design,Fastener,Sheet Metal etc.

(vii) Knowledge of properties of various materials such as Mild Steel, HRCA, CRCA, Acrylic sheet,Aluminium,GI sheet, Stainless Steel etc.

(viii) Knowledge of Paint, Primer, Hot Dip Galvanization, Powder Coating etc. on Metal.

(ix) Manufacturing process and generation of engineering estimates for Fabrication, assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Skills Required :

(i) Excellent leadership for leading a team of Engineers/Draftsman

(ii) Excellent Communication Skill for co-ordination with clients & Vendors

(iii) Coordinating activities with other departments within the organization, such as production or materials acquisition

(ivi)Developing strategies for improving Design and reducing costs

(v) Resolution of comment's given by client and approval of design drawings

(vi)Knowledge of Excel, Word & Power Point

(vii) Maintaning input Records & outflow of Design drawings
