Job Description
Job Summary
PetroBot Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic, strategically driven
Business Development
to expand our market presence in the
Southern region of India
. This remote position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities in the
Oil & Gas
and
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
sectors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of
3 years' experience in business development.
*Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales*

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies, including lead generation and targeted prospecting.
  • Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets by securing new client engagements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Design, and Technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and performance reviews to ensure continued satisfaction and business retention.

Operational Support

  • Prepare and submit tender documents, quotations, and competitive bid proposals.
  • Monitor project execution timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.
  • Support revenue optimization initiatives and manage strategic accounts.

Strategic Planning & Industry Awareness

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes in the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage PetroBot's products and services to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to inform business strategy.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, pipeline status, and market dynamics.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, specifically in the Oil & Gas or NDT sectors.
  • Strong understanding of business development strategies and B2B sales processes.
  • Proven experience in preparing and managing tenders and bid submissions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and basic project management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
