Job Purpose:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Manager to ensure and improve the quality of all backend banking processes. The role involves building stronger controls, enhancing SOPs, conducting process walkthroughs, facilitating BCP (Business Continuity Plan) tests, ensuring timely RBI reporting, and driving automation projects to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Automation: Identify manual activities, perform cost-benefit analysis, and implement automation projects through IT teams.
  • SOP & Control Improvement: Strengthen maker-checker controls, enhance SOP content, and implement robust exception handling mechanisms.
  • Process Walkthroughs & RCSA Updates: Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify process gaps, update and document RCSAs.
  • BCP Testing: Facilitate and document BCP tests for critical processes.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate RBI reporting, manage audit requirements, and provide accurate responses to audit queries.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and prevent operational losses.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of backend banking operations and transaction modes.
  • Hands-on experience in process improvement, quality control, and automation initiatives.
  • Good understanding of RCSA, BCP, and compliance requirements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with banking software.
  • Experience handling multiple transaction reconciliations and zero-defect operations.
