Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to RCM functions such as patient billing, claims processing, collections, and denials.
  • Use basic SQL queries to extract and filter data from healthcare and billing databases.
  • Collaborate with RCM, finance, and operations teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as AR days, claim rejection rates, and collection efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Assist in automating recurring reports and improving reporting workflows.
  • Support audits and data validation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in MIS or data reporting roles within a healthcare RCM environment.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL (SELECT, WHERE, simple JOINs).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
  • Familiarity with RCM systems and tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Graduation not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the end-to-end RCM process.
  • Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
