The Medical Coding trainee will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with all relevant coding guidelines and regulations.

Certification from a recognized coding organization such as AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, CCS) is required

Experience/Qualification :

  • Completion of a medical coding training program (certificate or diploma).
  • Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities :

  • Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.
  • Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on medical documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of coded data for billing and reimbursement purposes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing staff to clarify documentation and coding queries.
  • Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12, ₹18,000.00 per month
