Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Test Manager with 15+ years of rich QA experience to lead the test strategy, governance, and delivery of web applications and SaaS platforms across global programs. You will play a key role in driving both functional and non-functional testing, coordinating cross-functional QA teams, and aligning quality efforts with product roadmaps and enterprise objectives.

This role demands strong communication skills, PMO coordination, and the ability to operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic QA Leadership

• Own the end-to-end QA delivery for web applications, SaaS platforms, APIs, and enterprise integrations
• Define test strategies, planning, resource allocation, and release gate criteria
• Establish quality KPIs, risk matrices, and QA reporting dashboards for leadership teams

Functional & Non-Functional Test Management

• Oversee execution of functional (UI, API), integration, regression, performance, and UAT cycles
• Define and drive automation strategy using tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, etc.
• Ensure alignment with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies

Team & Vendor Coordination

• Manage QA teams across onshore/offshore models (20+ members), including manual, automation, and performance testers
• Coordinate with product owners, developers, release teams, and external partners for timely, high-quality delivery
• Drive defect triage, RCA, and test impact analysis during sprints and releases

PMO & Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary QA contact for internal/external stakeholders, including product managers, IT, and business leaders
• Present QA status, test metrics, release readiness, and defect trends in PMO governance calls
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure test completeness

Skills & Experience Required:

• 15+ years of software testing experience, including 7+ years in QA leadership or test management roles
• Hands-on experience in web application and SaaS product testing across complex ecosystems
• Proven ability to lead large QA teams, define scalable test strategies, and ensure delivery across sprint/release cycles
• Strong understanding of test management tools (Jira, ALM, TestRail), automation frameworks, and defect lifecycle
• Ability to interact with CXOs, PMO leaders, and delivery heads in a confident and structured manner
• Excellent communication, escalation management, and documentation skills

Desirable Skills (Bonus if You Have)

• Experience in HR tech platforms such as:
• SAP HCM, SuccessFactors EC, or similar HRMS systems
• HR SaaS tools (Recruitment, Onboarding, ESS/MSS)
• Familiarity with middleware testing, SAP CPI/iFlows, or API management tools
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO and test compliance frameworks
• ISTQB Advanced, Certified Agile Tester, or PMP/SAFe certifications
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, model-based testing, or AI-driven test optimization
