Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Windchill WBM Developer

he Windchill WBM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing data migration solutions using PTC Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM). The role involves creating ETL logic, mapping data structures, resolving migration errors, optimizing performance, and collaborating with PLM architects and functional teams to ensure successful migration of Parts, Documents, CAD data, BOM structures, and Change Objects into Windchill.

Skills/Tasks requirements

• In-depth understanding of Windchill PLM system, Part & Document management, Part-Document alignment, Engineering design lifecycles within Windchill PLM, Change management and workflows
• Experience in design and execution of engineering data migrations from legacy systems to Windchill PLM.
• Experience in performing data migrations using Extract-Transform-Load methods and building transformation scripts, processors, representing data in staging environment, data cleansing and making data ready for Windchill system
• Experience using WBM (Windchill Bulk Migrator) tool and experiencing in developing Windchill APIs for parsing and loading meta data & CAD data into Windchill
• Ability to validate migrated data in Windchill and should generate reports with respect to data correctness, quality and missing links etc
• Should have experience in executing a full cycle of data migrations from legacy applications to Windchill in desecrate manufacturing domain
• Ability to map requirements to Windchill PLM and ability to solution Windchill PLM with respect to configuration & customization of Windchill PLM and its modules PartLink, MPMLink & ProjectLink

• Relevant years of experience in Windchill PLM implementations, Roll-out and Data migrations

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Good communication and customer handling skills
• Ability to report project progress, status and risks to PMO organization
