Migration Consultant – Windchill to 3DEXPERIENCE

We are looking for a highly skilled Migration Consultant with hands-on experience in Windchill to 3DEXPERIENCE data migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data models, developing migration scripts, validating data integrity, and ensuring a smooth transition between platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and map Windchill data models to 3DEXPERIENCE structures.
  • Develop and maintain migration scripts or configure ETL tools for data transformation.
  • Conduct dry runs and mock migrations to ensure readiness.
  • Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Monitor migration logs to identify and resolve errors or exceptions.
  • Implement rollback and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute validation checkpoints.
  • Document the entire migration process, including scripts, configurations, and test results.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or equivalent.
  • Experience with ETL tools or custom migration frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windchill and 3DEXPERIENCE data models and architecture.
  • Familiarity with APIs like Windchill REST Services and 3DEXPERIENCE Web Services.
  • Strong skills in XML/JSON data handling and transformation.
  • Expertise in error handling, logging, and rollback strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in PLM system migrations or enterprise data transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of PLM business processes and data governance.
  • Certification in Dassault Systèmes or PTC Windchill platforms.
