Business operations executive

Core responsibilities
- Run day to day operations and own the shared calendar.
- Coordinate with universities for profiles, events, talks, documentation and placements.
- Organise trade show schedules, demos and invite lists; manage post-event follow up.
- Maintain project, asset and inventory logs; oversee overseas shipments where relevant.
- Build internal dashboards on competitors, pricing, products, campaigns, funding calls; track trends across journals, search and trade press.
- Prepare decks, documents and trackers in PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
- Use AI tools for research and drafting.
- Identify and advance collaboration opportunities with institutes, vendors and partners.
- Attract and schedule candidates; manage screenings and handovers to hiring leads.
Skills
- Clear written and verbal communication; confident stakeholder handling.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Excel or Sheets for lookups, pivots, charts and basic automation; tidy slides.
- Comfortable with AI tools, Google Trends and simple RSS or newsletter curation.
- Research and fact checking with clean citation habits and version control.
- Event coordination across webinars and trade shows.
- Basic CRM discipline and data hygiene; discretion with sensitive data.
- Working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop can be an advantage.
