About the role--

This role is accountable for the totality of IT infrastructure and operations (I&O) throughout the global organization. The director of I&O is responsible for the delivery of all IT infrastructure and related IT operations used to enable business capabilities and services across the enterprise. The head of I&O brings current knowledge and future vision for transforming the I&O function including its strategy, service offerings and workforce. The role is a senior stakeholder in all relationships with externally sourced infrastructure and operations capabilities.

As a key member of the senior IT leadership team this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and is responsible for ensuring I&O strategy is fully aligned, positioning I&O to deliver compelling business value.

Primarily focused on:

• Lead teams to design, develop, integrate and lead overall delivery of Video Platforms (OTT) based Multi-tier architecture.
• Design and lead teams to build media ingestion workflows, metadata management, authentication & authorization.
• Develop Secure Content Delivery Methodologies, (deep linking, syndication etc.) using delivery protocols like HLS/DASH/SS on multi-DRM technologies.
• Implement Policy, Device, Subscriber, and Conditional access and offer and rights management Solutions.
• Deliver OTT apps for Mobile Device Platforms like Web, IOS, Android, Roku Tizen, STBs and connected platforms. 
• Identify points of security exposure, handshake and implement SSL certificates for production infrastructure.
• Implement change and incident management practices to successfully bring down the number of production incidents.
• Provide expert level advice in business process consultancy & recommendations.
• Participate in CDN selection and implementation strategies.
• Responsible for budget management, cost management and strategizing the infrastructure roadmap for Quickplay.
• Manage partnerships and engage with clients in presenting and taking accountability for the E2E ownership from infrastructure management standpoint.
  

About You--

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience with at least 8 years in implementing and developing Devops Technologies.
• Minimum of 5 years Director level experience managing Infrastructure Engineering and managing Operations.
• Expertise with Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools like Git.
• Experienced playing the role of Devops Architect for cloud products and Kubernetes Strategy at enterprise scale.
• Experienced in creating Devops Architecture from scratch and drive migration/containerization for cloud nativeness and instill Devops Culture in engineering teams.
• Experienced in analyzing, executing, and streamlining Devops Practices.
• Extensive experience in developing Continuous Integration/Pipelines using tools like Jenkins, and Travis CI.
• Expertise in software containerization platform Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
• Strong experience in Dockerizing/Migrating different on-premises services applications for Kubernetes/Docker Swarm (RoR, Python 2.7/3.6, NodeJS 10/11, Go, Angular, etc).
• Contributed to Infra & Cloud Security by implementing configurations on Firewall devices (PA / CISCO ASA) & setting up security rules in VPN gateways in cloud.
• Extensive experience in Cloud Migrations for large enterprises identifying/supporting in destination cloud services and using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, etc. for automation.
• Sound analytics knowledge on video operations and monitoring/ analytics tools like NewRelic, Zabbix. Cloudera, Conviva and YouBora etc.
• Highly skilled in developing Terraform Providers, Resources and Data sources.
• Experience working with leading cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei.
• Applied research around streaming technologies (HLS, MPEG DASH etc.), Media format (HEVC. AVC etc.) and created business cases for build versus buy decisions on streaming players, JIT packager and content processing solutions.
• Working knowledge of Ad Solutions like YoSpace, Freewheel, Google DFP etc.
• Established and managed centers of excellence. 
• Certified SAFE 4.0 practitioner.
