Roles and Responsibilities – AV Project Engineer1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Collaborate with sales, design, and project management teams to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Review AV system drawings, schematics, and bill of materials before project execution.
  • Develop detailed project implementation plans including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of AV equipment and accessories.

2. Technical Implementation

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and integration of AV systems including displays, projectors, video walls, microphones, speakers, DSPs, control systems, and networked AV solutions.
  • Ensure rack-building, cable management, terminations, and labeling follow industry standards (AVIXA / InfoComm).
  • Program and configure AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX) as required.
  • Conduct system testing, calibration, and quality checks before handover.

3. Site Management

  • Conduct site surveys to validate AV design feasibility and identify any constraints.
  • Supervise and guide technicians, subcontractors, and installers on-site to ensure proper execution.
  • Monitor progress against project schedules, reporting delays or risks proactively.
  • Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards on site.

4. Client Communication & Support

  • Act as a key technical contact for clients during installation and commissioning.
  • Provide regular project updates and obtain client approvals at various stages.
  • Conduct user training sessions and create handover documentation including as-built drawings, manuals, and system configuration details.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed project documentation including change requests, equipment lists, and wiring diagrams.
  • Prepare test reports, snag lists, and ensure timely closure of pending issues.
  • Support project manager in preparing project status reports and billing documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500, ₹800,000.00 per year
