Sinch is seeking a talented and experienced Team Lead to join our dynamic organization. As a Team Lead at Sinch, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled professionals and driving their success in achieving team goals and targets. Your role will involve managing and developing team members, coordinating team activities, and providing guidance and support to ensure the team's performance and overall success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve team goals and targets
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Coordinate and monitor team activities to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve shared goals and objectives
• Track and analyze team performance metrics and provide reports and recommendations to management
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in team leadership and management

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash Shell scripts, Python)
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with engineering to implement those fixes
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and OS patch management
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Install, configure, update and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Solid experience in the database administration e.g. (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Prior experience in a leadership position, preferably in a similar industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proven past experience as a Team Lead/Senior System Engineer or similar role with team handling experience.
• Experience with monitoring systems and configuration of Nagios tool.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments

Who are you?
Experience : 5 to 8 yrs

• Educational Qualification : B.Tech./B.E/BCA/BSc(IT)
• MYSQL installation and backup and query execution
• Tomcat & Nginx Webservers installation and management
• Creating dashboards in tools like Grafana, ELK etc.

You'll Stand Out From The Crowd If You Have

• Knowledge of Messaging queue, Oracle, shell scripts
• RHCE - Certification
