Membership Portfolio & Services (MPS) is a company-wide Centre of Excellence to provide Product & Data Solutions. The Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX), a global organization that sits within USCS and is responsible for providing Digital best-in-class Customer Experience globally. As part of the portfolio, one of the remits is to provide the Communications Centre of Excellence with the charter of driving high quality, customer-servicing communication experience. The open role is for Enterprise Comms Enablement & Transformation (ECET) team under ECMX.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Planning User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities that impact front-end, user-focused applications. This includes assessing the testing needs, determining the proper test configuration and data needs, writing and executing test conditions and test scripts, recommending opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, and ensuring the completion of required test documents
- Tracking and monitoring defects that arise during UAT, and seeing them through to resolution.
- Preparing all testing-related documentation and calling out risks (if any).
- Monitoring project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing status reports, recommending actions and escalating appropriately on slack/calls/emails.
- Forging strong relationships with various internal business partners, technical partners and vendors.
Minimum Qualifications
· Candidate should have a Bachelor's/Master's degree from a recognized university.
· Excellent understanding of MS Excel, PowerPoint, ability to manage data and translate in to meaningful reports
· Basic understanding of XMLs, JSON, Postman
· years of previous experience in User Acceptance Testing/Quality Assurance (QA) role
· Effective verbal/written communication skills
· Basic coding experience to find automation opportunities and create Test automation frameworks using selenium / Jscript (preferred)
· Well verse with SDLC, Agile methodology and tools like JIRA, Rally, Confluence
Preferred Qualifications
· Good understanding of end-to-end product testing.
· Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and implement time management strategies to ensure deadlines are met with minimum support.
· Build relationships with the cross broader team and business partners gaining insight into the process and opportunities.
· Proven self-starter with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
· Ability to assess risks, impacts or implications to operations areas or the customer.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Sense of urgency, commitment to deadlines and deliverables.
· Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
· Ability to flex work schedule to meet project demands including extended workday, onshore hours, and/or possible weekends.
· Familiarity with Testing methodology (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile) and prior testing experience.
