Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sustainability Project Engineer located in Pune. The Sustainability Project Engineer will be responsible for project planning, project engineering, project management, electrical engineering, and communication with both clients and contractors. The Sustainability Project Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring that sustainability requirements are incorporated into the design, construction, and operation of buildings.

1. Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

Green Building Consulting

• Deliver green building projects in India and across the globe (LEED, WELL, IGBC etc.) across diverse sectors and scale.
• Coordinate trainings and workshops for project teams.
• Coordinate and prepare project submission documents to USGBC, IWBI, etc.
• Develop sustainable building design, construction and operations strategies for diverse client base, with immediate focus on:
• Accelerating sustainable design and operations standards for international hospitality groups
• Developing a sustainability standard for food and beverage sector
• Apply international green building standards and clients' tailored sustainability standards to projects under design or operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in project management and project engineering.
• Minimum 2 years Experience in Green Building Certification.
• Strong project planning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and clients.
• Experience in sustainability or green building design is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.

Relevant qualifications and skills that would be beneficial include knowledge of LEED, WELL, or other green building certifications, experience with energy-efficient design, construction, and operation, and experience in managing complex projects.
