Role & responsibilities

The Head- Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics strategy and SC operations to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.

Playing a crucial role in developing and maintaining good business relationships within Supply Chain Network. This role is responsible to Balance Demand and Supply through effective Material Planning, Inventory Management, Direct and Indirect Material Purchasing, Costing, Sourcing & Logistics to meet on time Delivery of Goods & Services at Economical Cost with best Lead-time as per Internal/External Customer Requirements within Agreed service Levels.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Broad Supply chain knowledge in Automobile (OEM) Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required and experience with SAP/ERP systems is essential.
  • Experience in Sourcing of  sheet metal, fabricated assemblies, machined parts, and proprietary components
  • Knowledge of various Quality system methodologies 8D, Lean, 5 Whys,
  • Project Management Certification, Supply Chain Certifications will be a plus.
  • Experience in Warehouse/Stores & Inventory management.
  • Preferred Experience from 4 wheeler (Car/Bus/SCV/EV).
  • Highly developed People management skills must be able to manage the teams effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skill, collaborative, and Executive presence.
  • Must possess Conflict resolution, problem solving skills.
