Job Description

We are hiring a Backend Engineer with strong experience in GoLang and Python to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices architecture. The role requires the ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using GoLang and Python
• Build and optimize RESTful or gRPC APIs for high-performance applications
• Implement scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant microservices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Debug production issues and improve application performance
• Integrate with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in GoLang and Python

Experience building REST APIs / gRPC services

Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems

Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or NoSQL databases

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem solving

Nice to Have

• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.)
• Exposure to GraphQL, WebSockets, or event-driven architecture
• Hands-on with unit testing & integration testing frameworks
• Knowledge of async programming in Go or Python
• Experience in high-traffic / large-scale application development
