Job Overview

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer (Automation) with 2.5 – 5 years of experience in automation and manual testing. The candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium, TestNG, and automation frameworks, with hands-on experience in API testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Expertise in quality assurance practices and software testing tools
  • Hands-on experience in Selenium and Selenide
  • Strong knowledge of XPath expressions and Page Object Model (POM) in Selenium
  • Proficient with TestNG framework
  • Ability to write SQL queries and debug logs from test execution
  • Experience with API & Web application testing
  • Ability to develop manual test cases and convert them into automated scripts
  • Experience in RestAssured Framework and Postman
  • Hands-on with at least one programming language (Java preferred)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration and basic Git commands
  • Exposure to JMeter for performance testing

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project management and development teams to understand testing objectives
  • Design and create test conditions, scripts, and automation frameworks
  • Execute manual and automation tests, document results, and report defects
  • Lead automation strategy/efforts and perform testing cycles using Selenium & JMeter
  • Execute and analyze automation test results
  • Work in an Agile environment, supporting sprint activities and testing goals
  • Support production deployment validation testing during off-hours
  • Troubleshoot and triage issues with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis
  • Document, track, and escalate issues using test management tools (e.g., Quality Center, JIRA, etc.)
