Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies.
  • Create and execute test cases, report bugs, and validate fixes.
  • Perform regression testing and ensure test coverage for new and existing features.
  • Integrate Cypress tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Monitor test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 1 year in Cypress.
  • Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills.
  • Experience with test frameworks such as Mocha or Chai (used within Cypress).
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
  • Experience in REST API testing.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
