**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct system analysis and prepare test cases for SOAP and REST APIs.
- Perform automation testing using Cypress for API endpoints.
- Work effectively in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Utilize Cypress, JavaScript, and API testing techniques to execute tests efficiently.
- Independently evaluate technical solutions, such as addressing CSS class problems with Cypress methods or implementing JavaScript solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients regarding testing activities.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on test results, defects, and overall test coverage.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Advance to medium level of knowledge of JavaScript

**Skills**:
Must have- Requirement understanding and testcase preparation
- Manual execution of testcases
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong knowledge and experience in Cypress, JavaScript, and API testing.
- Professional-level programming skills in JavaScript
- Creating new scripts, running the automation scripts and maintaining the script.
- Ready to work on any of the automation Tool UFT or Cypress
- Ability to independently evaluate and solve technical challenges.
- Proficient in creating and executing test cases for SOAP and REST APIs.
- Professional-level programming skills in JavaScript
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and frameworks related to API testing.

Nice to have- Any other programming language / Java Script
- Knowledge of agile methodology.
- Knowledge about POM & BDD
- ISTQB certification is added advantage

Experience

2-5 years of experience in Automation API Testing, specifically using Cypress.

Proven experience in testing SOAP and REST APIs.
