Position Overview

We are seeking a Professional Pastry Chef with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience** in premium bakeries, five-star pastry kitchens, or boutique patisseries.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the art of pastry, has an expert understanding of both classical and modern techniques, and can uphold and elevate La Patisserie20's reputation for world-class desserts.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, prepare, and finish a variety of pastries, cakes, French entremets, cookies, breads, and cheesecakes from scratch.

* Innovate and design seasonal dessert menus aligned with brand aesthetics and market trends.

* Maintain strict quality, taste, and presentation standards in every product.

* Supervise daily pastry production, ensuring efficient workflow and consistency.

* Monitor kitchen hygiene, equipment maintenance, and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines.

* Oversee ingredient inventory, costing, and waste management.

* Train and guide junior pastry staff in professional techniques and operational excellence.

* Collaborate with management and design teams for special projects, festive collections, and custom orders.

Qualifications & Skills

* Minimum 5 years of experience in professional pastry kitchens or high-end bakeries.

* Proven expertise in French pastry, mousse-based entremets, and modern cake finishing techniques.

* Strong understanding of baking science, ingredient pairing, and temperature control.

* Diploma or Certification in Bakery & Patisserie from a reputed institute preferred.

* Excellent time management, creativity, and organizational skills.

* Ability to maintain composure and precision in high-volume environments.
