Position: QA Analyst

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA Analyst to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure the highest quality standards. This role involves both manual and automated testing, close collaboration with development and product teams, and maintaining robust test processes to deliver reliable and user-friendly products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and document test scenarios for existing systems and newly developed features.
  • Execute test cases and test scenarios using both manual and automated testing tools.
  • Perform and manage comprehensive system regression testing.
  • Apply relevant test methodologies and best practices to real-world applications.
  • Maintain and update the bi-weekly test schedule; implement new test strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal Software Development team to ensure seamless product releases.
  • Record, track, and document testing issues, bugs, and their resolutions for future reference.
  • Demonstrate new system features to internal teams and provide testing insights.
  • Liaise with Client Services and Venue Support teams to understand and address recurring issues.
  • Assist the Product Development team with testing and validation of existing and proposed features.
  • Adhere to quality standards and processes defined by the Product Development Manager.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in-person and remotely.
  • Critical and logical thinking — ability to view systems from a user's perspective and identify usability gaps.
  • Familiarity with web-based software systems, UI/UX principles, and design best practices.
  • Ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the company's applications and comparable products in the market.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman, etc.).
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Prior experience in testing web or SaaS applications is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 per year
