Purpose And Scope
The position is responsible for leading the Reporting Technology chapter and playing role of Value Team Captain within R2R pod, ensuring efficient development, maintenance, and enhancement of BPC/SAC reports for managerial reporting, statutory regional consolidation, and financial planning. Role will provide to organization strong technical expertise in SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP S/4HANA, combined with exceptional leadership skills to coordinate communication across multiple business functions and manage reporting priorities for new developments. Leading cross-functional collaboration, driving innovation in reporting solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Lead and manage the Reporting Technology chapter and Value Team, providing guidance and oversight on reporting development and enhancements.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and automated reporting solutions for managerial, statutory, and financial planning requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication, acting as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, Operations, and other business units to ensure reporting needs are met efficiently.
- Prioritize reporting requirements based on business needs and strategic objectives, ensuring timely delivery of new developments and enhancements.
- Oversee statutory regional consolidation processes, maintaining compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in reporting.
- Act as Business Product owner for SAP BPC, SAC, and SAP S/4HANA, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimizations with close collaboration with DigitalX
- Establish and enforce best practices in financial reporting and system usage, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting methodologies and automation efforts, including participation in the wider projects for Finance
- Collaborate with FP&A teams, master data, financial CoEs and other teams within CFO function and DigitalX to drive efficiency and compliance
- Mentor, train, and support team members and business users to enhance reporting efficiency and adoption.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging reporting technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and planning, with expertise in SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP S/4HANA in the global company
- Strong leadership skills with experience in coordinating cross-functional communication and managing reporting priorities for new developments across all countries
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical reporting solutions.
- Expertise in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.
- Ability to design, build, and optimize data models and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA for financial data and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of Agile.
- Experience leading a reporting team or managing large-scale financial reporting projects.
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other global financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, automation tools, and advanced analytics techniques.
- Project and change management experience.
