The candidate will

  • Liaise with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Outline, define, and initiate the given project.
  • Implement document control policies and documentation templates.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of assigned project(s).
  • Evaluate standards of component products.
  • Monitor project progress and implement changes where necessary.
  • Monitor expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Ensure compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Compile project reports / weekly status reports and inform management regarding problems.
  • Ensure project complies with best practices, Quality Management policies, SOPs, Project Management Office policies, and other policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Total 10 years of IT experience. Should have worked as a developer in a technical stream for 8-9 years and then as a Technical Manager with 2-3 years of experience.
  • Good understanding & experience in agile methodology.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding people skills.
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with executing fixed-cost implementation with good understanding of earned value management.
  • Industry certifications from PMI or similar institutions.
  • Any experience with facing CMM Audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree, Master degree is a plus.
