AWS Cloud Architect

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS cloud services, a strong background in software development, and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping our cloud strategy, guiding development teams, and driving the adoption of best practices within our AWS :

- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions on AWS.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on AWS best practices, architecture patterns, and cloud-native development.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and propose innovative AWS-based solutions for modernization and optimization.

- Define and enforce cloud governance policies, security standards, and cost optimization

strategies.

- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible to ensure

repeatable and consistent deployments.

- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline to automate software delivery.

- Architect and oversee the deployment of containerized applications using Docker and

Kubernetes.

- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless

integration and deployment of applications in the cloud.

- Evaluate new AWS services and technologies, recommending their adoption where

appropriate to improve system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and provide expert guidance for resolution.

- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing, particularly within

the AWS ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 10 years of extensive experience in software development, with a strong foundational understanding of modern web technologies.

- Proven proficiency in several of the following technologies : Angular, React, , JavaScript, and TypeScript. While this is an architect role, a solid understanding of these

development technologies is crucial for guiding development teams effectively.

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and managing robust and scalable solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.

Deep understanding of a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to :

- Compute : EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS

- Storage : S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier

- Databases : RDS (various engines), DynamoDB, Aurora

- Networking : VPC, Route 53, Load Balancers (ALB, NLB)

- Serverless : API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions

- Security : IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, KMS, WAF

- Monitoring & Logging : CloudWatch, CloudTrail

- Management & Governance : CloudFormation, Systems Manager, Trusted Advisor

- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and practical

experience in deploying and managing containerized applications.

- Expertise in Microservices architecture principles and experience in designing and

implementing microservices-based solutions.

- Extensive hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Terraform, Ansible,

Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and analytical approach to complex technical challenges.

- Ability to thrive in an agile development environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills :

- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) is a significant plus.

- Experience with serverless application development.

- Knowledge of advanced networking concepts within AWS.

- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
