Position:
MEP Planning Engineer

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Experience:
10 to 15 Years

Project Nature:
Commercial/Residential/Industrial Buildings

Responsibilities

  • Study and understand project scope, contract documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Prepare Master Construction Programme (MCP) as per contract scope, sequence, and milestones.
  • Plan resources and estimate costs for Labour, Material, Plant & Equipment, and Overheads (LMPO).
  • Prepare Accepted Cost Estimate (ACE) / Zero Cost Budget.
  • Monitor executed costs, productivity, and daily allocation of resources.
  • Handle Extension of Time (EOT), price escalation, and extra claims in coordination with Project Manager.
  • Prepare Job Cost Report (JCR), labour & material reconciliation statements, and Cost Control Reports.
  • Verify and review client bills, subcontractor bills, and rate analyses.
  • Prepare and submit Project Completion, Evaluation, and Performance Reports.
  • Ensure compliance with MPCS Manual and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Relevant experience of 10 to 15 years in MEP Planning.
  • Strong expertise in resource planning, budgeting, and cost monitoring.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and ensure efficient project delivery.
