Site Safety Engineer Responsibilities (Pointers)

  • Prepare and implement site-specific safety plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.
  • Monitor use of PPE and safe work practices.
  • Perform regular site inspections for unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain safety records, incident reports, and documentation.
  • Conduct safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate accidents, near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and workers for safety compliance.
  • Promote a safety-first culture among all site personnel.
  • Plan and enforce emergency response and evacuation procedures.
  • Ensure machinery, equipment, and tools meet safety standards.
  • Participate in safety audits and external inspections.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Communicate safety policies effectively to all levels of staff.

Job Type: Permanent
