  • Description
  • The Associate, Finance, will report to the Vice-President, Finance.
  • The firm is looking for that rare leader. The candidate should embody the following attributes: manifest
  • integrity; a fiery intellect; on-the-ground execution capability; an aesthetic sensibility; and a long-term
  • orientation. All this must come wrapped in abundant common sense
  • It is expected that the candidate will have an understanding of accounting, taxation and finance concepts,
  • support executive management by providing timely reporting and analysis of operating results, and develop
  • into a leader over time. Specific areas of competency include:
  • Financial Accounting: Prepare working files supporting the firm's day to day accounting activities, including
  • financial reports, statutory filings, variance analysis etc., and ensure proper maintenance of accounting
  • systems and records;
  • Financial Reporting: Support audit coordination and ensure timely, accurate and useful financial and
  • management reporting to external stakeholders and the Board;
  • Taxation: Actively participate in and support the preparation (computation), and filing of the firm's direct
  • and indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions;
  • Treasury: Assist in preparation of working files related to cash, investment, and management of firm assets;
  • Team: Be a team player—collaborate effectively, communicate openly, and contribute positively to group
  • goals;
  • Communication: Draft routine and non-routine business correspondence.
  • CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
  • The Associate, Finance will be a dynamic professional with about 2-4 years of post-qualification experience,
  • ideally in finance or audit. The candidate and her/his family must be comfortable and happy to be living and
  • working in Chennai.
  • The Associate, Finance will have the following attributes and skills:
  • Education
  •  Undergraduate degree in Commerce or Engineering; and
  •  Qualified CA or CPA. Experience in US GAAP/IFRS and/or prior experience in investment fund
  • accounting is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
