Senior Design Engineer – Railways

Job Location - Gurugram/Hyderabad/Mumbai

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join us as the Senior Design Engineer – Railways (Civil) for our domestic transportation business at Gurguram, Mumbai and Hyderabad Offices. As the Design Engineer – Railways (civil), you will play a pivotal role in advancing our transportation infrastructure projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the delivery of projects.

• As a senior design engineer, your key responsibilities will be:
• To carry out detailed engineering or tender designs including alignments and ESPs for yards for various types of Railway projects.
• To prepare calculation reports, technical specifications and quantity take-offs and provide input for design drawings during all phases of projects.
• To coordinate with team members and ensure delivery of projects within specified timeframe.
• To perform QA checks on the designs and drawings produced to ensure quality delivery.

Qualification

• Master's degree in transportation/highway/railway engineering.
• About 6-9 years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects with a proven record of successful detailed design project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Railway codes and specifications, PWM. Knowledge of IRC standards and MoRTH specifications, knowledge of DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable.
• Hands on experience in using software like OpenRail/OpenRoads, Civil3D and AutoCAD etc.
• Structured working style with result-oriented approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
