Job Description

Position: Commercial and Contracts Manager - Delhi

Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing commercial structure/ framework for the project

  2. Apply contract principles, practices, regulations, applicable laws, legal principles, as relevant for Contract Management

  3. Verification and risk analysis of PO/ WO from clients

  4. Collaboration with other team members and departments to understand scope of work and service level agreement etc.

  5. Collaborate with customer and Project Manager for timely resolution of change orders/claims/ contractual communications with respect to time, cost and other commercial terms/issues

  6. Monitoring the Force Majeure related events and ensure prompt communications, work out the Extension of Time requests and dealing with such claims.

  7. Project-level revenue and P&L statements

  8. Support negotiation with customers, vendors on commercial agreements

  9. Negotiation with vendors/ suppliers on provision of goods and services

  10. Monitoring of supply agreement process and deal in commercial / contractual issues with suppliers.

  11. Managing commercial compliances with respect to payment terms, credit limits etc.

  12. Monitoring outstanding receivables from customers

  13. Involvement with sales and support teams to support on commercial matters

  14. Coordinating with relevant stakeholders for BG, LC and other vendor registration processes

Skills & Competencies:


• Effective Communication Skills


• Negotiation skills


• Thorough understanding of Contract clauses


• Experience in dealing in FIDIC Contracts, Internal companies


• Experience in dealing with structured contracts with PSUs


• Contract clause drafting


• Conflict Management


• Ability to assess Contract Risks and Mitigation measures
