Position: Full Time Work Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 4 to 8Years

Job Description:

Data Analyst Specialist will assist in analysing large datasets related to government, and other related information to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform policy decisions, improve departmental efficiency, and enhance citizen services.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors or master's degree in:
  • Data Science
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Certifications or diplomas in Data Analysis, Big Data, or Data Science are an added advantage.

2. Technical Skills

To handle large land-related databases and decision-making tasks, the following technical skills are crucial:

  • Data Handling and Analysis Tools
  • SQL (Structured Query Language): Essential for querying and managing large relational databases (e.g., land records stored in SQL databases).
  • Excel (Advanced): Pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, and advanced functions for basic data analysis.
  • Data Visualization Tools
  • Power BI or Tableau for interactive dashboards and visualizing complex land record data.
  • Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly in Python for advanced custom visualizations.
  • Programming Skills
  • Python or R for data analysis, cleaning, and statistical modeling.
  • Libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn in Python for data manipulation and basic machine learning.

3. Analytical Skills and Decision-Making

  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to draw insights from datasets.
  • Data Cleaning and Preparation: Convert raw data into clean, structured formats.
  • Statistical Analysis: Understanding statistical tests, correlation, etc.
  • Predictive Analytics: Ability to make forecasts or predictive models (e.g., predicting land-use patterns).

4. Presentation and Communication Skills

  • PowerPoint Expertise: Create clear, professional, and visually appealing presentations summarizing insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., government officials).

5. Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with government policies etc., is an added advantage.

6. Language

  • Proficiency in reading and writing Telugu will be considered a significant advantage
