Merchandiser (Product Development & Design) in a Jewellery Manufacturing Unit:

Key Responsibilities:

* Product Conceptualization and Design:

* Collaborate with designers to develop innovative and trendy jewellery designs that align with market trends and customer preferences.

* Research and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify potential opportunities and gaps.

* Develop detailed design concepts, sketches, and technical drawings to communicate design ideas clearly to the production team.

* Experiment with various materials, gemstones, and techniques to create unique and visually appealing jewellery pieces.

* Consider factors like wearability, durability, and cost-effectiveness during the design process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong design skills and a creative eye for aesthetics

* In-depth knowledge of jewellery design principles, materials, and techniques

* Understanding of the jewellery manufacturing process, including casting, setting, and finishing

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with designers, production teams, and suppliers

* Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines

* Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, 3D modeling)

* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality

* A passion for the jewellery industry and a desire to stay updated on the latest trends
