Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Manager with strong experience managing software development teams. In this role, you will support and report directly to the Vice President of Innovation and Client Experience while overseeing projects and processes across our full stack developers, UI/UX designers, QA testers, and product owners.

In addition to managing development workflows, this role plays a meaningful part in supporting the client journey. You will help ensure that the tools, systems, and processes we build align with the onboarding experience, steady-state engagement, and renewal path for our customers. Your coordination across teams will help translate client needs into actionable development priorities, maintain continuity across the client lifecycle, and support the VP of Innovation and Client Experience in strengthening the overall experience our specialists have from the moment they join through their long-term growth with us.

This role requires a blend of technical fluency, operational rigor, and calm, assertive communication. You will help turn ideas into structured requirements, organize sprints, keep work on track, and ensure our delivery cadence stays consistent and predictable. You'll also support internal processes, HubSpot management, and administrative coordination to keep the team aligned and moving.

This is a full-time, salaried remote role based in India. availability overlapping both India Standard Time and US Mountain Time (Arizona) to be discussed during interview.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery

• Manage day-to-day tracking of development projects, timelines, and deliverables
• Maintain project documentation, including requirements, scopes, and user stories
• Coordinate sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and stand-ups
• Ensure cross-functional alignment between development, design, QA, and product
• Follow up on blockers, priorities, and deadlines with clarity and consistency

Technical Fluency & Requirement Support

• Support in drafting product requirements, feature outlines, and technical notes
• Read GitHub commits and understand the purpose, scope, and impact of changes
• Understand API endpoints, data flow, and integration dependencies (no coding required)
• Perform light technical scoping to identify complexity and timeline implications

Quality Assurance Coordination

• Partner with QA testers to schedule testing windows, validation cycles, and retests
• Track defects, ensure resolution, and confirm readiness for release
• Help maintain quality standards and documentation across deployments

Cross-Functional Communication

• Facilitate communication between developers and business stakeholders
• Prepare notes, follow-ups, next steps, and decisions from meetings
• Maintain organized task lists, priorities, and updates in project tools

Administrative & Operational Support

• Provide administrative support to the VP of Innovation and Client Experience
• Assist with scheduling, meeting preparation, summaries, and action tracking
• Support internal process building and refinement across product and dev workflows
• Create HubSpot campaigns, manage tasks, and support lightweight marketing ops where needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience (preferably in a tech or SaaS environment)
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based workflows
• Experience using tools like Azure DevOps, Asana, Trello, or Jira
• Ability to read GitHub commits and navigate basic technical documentation
• Comfortable understanding data flows, APIs, and integration points
• Strong communication skills—clear, confident, soft but assertive when needed
• Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable in a startup environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with calmness and consistency
• Strong follow-through and accountability across all deliverables

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HubSpot (campaigns, tasks, workflows)
• Familiarity with Azure project management tools
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
• Exposure to technical projects involving AI, automation, or dashboards

Hours & Availability

This is a remote role for candidates located in India. While this position requires coordination across India Standard Time and U.S. (Arizona), specific working hours will be discussed with candidates during the interview process. We offer flexibility while ensuring there is sufficient overlap for cross-time-zone collaboration with the VP of Innovation and the development team.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $22,000–$28,000 USD per year
• Full-time, salaried position
