Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patent Prosecution Professional based in New Delhi. The role involves managing patent prosecution matters, drafting and filing patent applications, responding to office actions, FERs, attending hearings, and drafting Written Submission. Responsibilities include conducting technical analysis, interacting with clients to understand technological innovations, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The professional will also collaborate with internal teams to support IP strategies and provide expert advice on patent filing and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Registered Indian Patent Agent in good standing with at least 1 year experience
  • Proficiency in Patent Prosecution, Drafting, and Filing processes
  • Strong expertise in Responding to Office Actions/FERs and successfully attending hearings (positive outcomes)
  • Knowledge of IP laws (IN, US, EU), compliance requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills
  • Experience in working with technology domains such as Software, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Semiconductor, AI-based systems and methods, Data science, Block chain, physics, material sciences
  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Law, or a related field is preferred
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to high-quality deliverables
  • Experience in managing multiple projects efficiently and meeting deadlines
