Greetings from CFC Multispecialty Hospital,
To do triage of ER patients and attend to the patients immediately on arrival to the ER.
To communicate all admissions with the appropriate consultants.
To do independent patients care rounds and document all vital signs and report any abnormalities to the appropriate consultants.
To inform all critical events to the primary consultant and specialists on a timely fashion.
Identify impending clinical risk and communicate to the consultants.
To attend rounds with the primary consultant and other specialist who visit the ward or ER.
To perform and assist minor procedures such as venflon insertion, foly's Catheter insertion, ryle's tube insertion, CPR, BLS, ACLS.
To prepare and obtain all necessary consents for surgery, anaesthesia and procedures.
To explain all possible complications, success rate, pain management and cost of treatment whenever needed.
To check the drug charts daily, identify drug interactions, correct doses and administration routes.
To interact with clinical pharmacist and identify possible drug related issues.
To do per rectal , digital evacuation and per vaginal examination ( cervical dilatation in pregnancy, bleeding pv ) as and when required.
To initiate code blue and assist the staff to perform emergency services.
Do do suturing , dressing , suture removal as and when required.
To interact with othe duty doctors and prepare a duty rota on the 25th of every month for the next month.
To inform all investigation report, high alert medication, critical lab values to the primery consult/on duty registrar.
Qualification : MBBS
